Two cooperation memorandums were signed at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan

Two important cooperation memorandums were signed within the framework of the international conference titled “National Unity — The Driving Force of the New Uzbekistan’s Development!”, which is being held at the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan.

In particular, the cooperation memorandum between the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan and the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Compatriots Abroad under the Republic of Uzbekistan was signed by Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Center, and Kakhraman Sariev, Chairman of the Committee.

In addition, the cooperation memorandum between the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Compatriots Abroad under the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights was signed by Kakhraman Sariev, Chairman of the Committee, and Akmal Saidov, Director of the National Center.

These memorandums will serve as an important legal framework for implementing joint projects aimed at strengthening interethnic harmony, religious tolerance, the protection of human rights, and cooperation in the spiritual and educational sphere, as well as promoting the study and international dissemination of Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage.

In accordance with the agreements, the parties will jointly support scientific research, organize international and national conferences, forums, exhibitions, cultural and educational events, and media projects, and implement initiatives aimed at educating the younger generation in the spirit of tolerance, civic solidarity, and universal values.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Kakhraman Sariev, Chairman of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Compatriots Abroad under the Republic of Uzbekistan, emphasized that interethnic harmony and tolerance are among the key priorities of the country's state policy.

“Interethnic harmony and solidarity in our country today are not a coincidence. They are the practical result of the consistent state policy implemented under the leadership of our President. Representatives of more than 130 nationalities and ethnic groups live together as one family and make a worthy contribution to the development of our country. National unity is the solid foundation of New Uzbekistan's progress,” said Kakhramon Sariev.

Akmal Saidov, Director of the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights, also emphasized the significance of the cooperation memorandums and described the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan as an unparalleled spiritual and educational institution.

“Indeed, national unity has today become Uzbekistan’s national idea. In recent years, our country has established a strong legal and institutional framework for ensuring peace, interethnic harmony, and interfaith tolerance. The Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan is a practical embodiment of these noble ideals and serves to further strengthen mutual respect, enlightenment, and dialogue among peoples,” Akmal Saidov noted.

Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan, stated that these memorandums would contribute to the further development of spiritual and educational cooperation in the country.

“Today’s cooperation is an important step toward further strengthening interethnic harmony and religious tolerance in our country and promoting our rich civilizational heritage to the international community. The history of Uzbekistan teaches us a great truth: the strongest foundation of civilization and progress is peace, mutual respect, tolerance, and enlightenment. Preserving these values and passing them on to future generations is our shared responsibility,” said Firdavs Abdukhalikov.

The signing of the memorandums will further strengthen the Islamic Civilization Center in Uzbekistan’s strategic cooperation with state institutions, facilitate the implementation of joint projects in the fields of interethnic harmony, human rights, and enlightenment, and contribute to the broad promotion of our country’s rich civilizational heritage on the international stage.
